Columbus Day Weekend

We've had a lot of fun this long Columbus Day weekend. Mike and Meri came down Friday afternoon - so we headed to Old Town and ate dinner at Bugsys. Saturday, we took Julia to our neighbor Zoe's first birthday party. It was a costume party, which Julia loves wearing. Then, we headed to the airport to play frisbee and watch the planes. After that, we went to the new September 11th memorial at the pentagon. The memorial is really nice, and it has a "bench" for each of the 184 people who lost their lives. Then, Sunday we went over to Kelly and Joe's for dinner. Mike and Meri left this morning, and Nathan and I participated in the "Fast and Furriest" 5K for the animal shelter in Alexandria. Nathan ran, and Julia and I walked. Of course Julia loved all of the dogs that were walking around. We went to a pumpkin patch in Burke, Va. It had lots of rides for the kids, which Julia enjoyed. Back work tomorrow
