Yes, I know it's been awhile since the last entry. We've had a busy couple of weeks that started with a quick trip to Atlanta for me for
ASCA's annual conference. I left on a Friday afternoon - but not after
sitting on the runway for TWO hours before we could take off (which ended up not being too bad having time to reading a book!) and then got back to DC on Sunday morning. Nathan kept Julia busy - he took her to the airport - in her PJ's - which he thought were clothes. Then, we left on Wednesday 7/2 for New York. We left around 3:30 PM and got to Dave and Donna's around 10:00. Julia slept for 45 minutes total, but was
ok other than a little
whiny. Thursday, Uncle Mikey put new tires on our car, and then we had a nice late lunch with Dave, Donna, Renee, Brianna and Isabella. We then went over to mom and dad's and went to visit grandma Will in the nursing home, who was so glad to see us. We ate dinner at the dairy isle (YUMMY!) and then came back and had a fire with Bill, Brenda and Samantha. IT WAS REALLY COLD OUT. Friday, Grandma and Grandpa Burt and Bob and Bridget came up to visit with us and have a BBQ. Uncle Bob got his tractor out and gave Julia, Mom, Bridget and I a ride around the lawn. We had another fire that night, thankfully it was a little warmer. Then Saturday was the day of the party at the Wicks'. We saw so many people and had a great time. Julia LOVED the band that played, and the fireworks. We travelled home on Sunday - and are getting back into the swing of things around here. Work is keeping us quite busy, and Julia is loving daycare. There is a little boy in the class who loves Julia and always tries to give her hugs and kisses! It's sweet. Well, have a great week!
